Answered Prayer

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Prayer Outcomes & Follow-ups

February 2024 RTP Updates

Here at Crystal Women’s Clinic, we seek to thoughtfully follow up with each woman who walks in our doors. Some don’t respond to our efforts, or they request that we don’t contact them. Others are very grateful for our ongoing attempts for care and support, whether they have decided to parent or even if they are still in the decision-making process. All names used for the actual RTP texts as well as in this list are an “alias” in order to protect and respect privacy.

We are so grateful to report that the following women have CHOSEN LIFE! Join us in PRAISING GOD for these women and the life choices they have made! Continue to pray for these women as they navigate motherhood, and that they receive all of the support and resources they need.

  • Margot was nervous over her first pregnancy and felt undecided. She shared about her relationship with the FOB and how he supported her in either decision she wanted to make. Margot had a quiet demeanor and expressed an unpreparedness for this next step. We learned through a follow-up call that Margot decided to parent her child. Praise God! Pray for continued support and great confidence and encouragement in this decision.
  • Lucy was extremely nervous and overwhelmed to discover she was pregnant and already in second trimester. She expressed her financial fears and an overall fear of not being ready for this big life change. Lucy also expressed her concerns about abortion and the challenges that this decision might bring. She left her first visit with us needing time to process and talk to her significant other. When she returned to her third follow-up, she shared that after seeing the heartbeat and growing baby, she did not want to move forward with an abortion. Lucy appeared much more relaxed at her last visit with us and was given resources needed to move onto prenatal care, as well as other support resources for her and the FOB.
  • Linda wasn’t planning on having another child and felt undecided on what to do. She shared that the FOB supported her in whatever decision. Linda expressed her concerns about abortion and the ill feelings it gave her, as well as her lack of motivation to raise a child. Linda returned a few times to our clinic for services, and at her last appointment she shared that she decided she wanted to keep her pregnancy. Linda is now in prenatal care and appears happy and at peace with the decision she made.
  • Jocelyn was overwhelmed by the poor timing of having another child, yet the FOB didn’t want to consider abortion as an option. Jocelyn appeared overwhelmed and weighed down by her pregnancy and the decision she had to make. During her follow-up with us, Jocelyn shared that she decided to keep her baby and said she was happy with her decision.
  • Overwhelmed by finances and issues with the FOB, Roo felt that abortion as the best route for her and she had an abortion appointment scheduled. Her ultrasound revealed a more advanced pregnancy, which appeared to be a lot to process for Roo. She left overwhelmed and unsettled. Upon her return for a follow-up, Roo said that she decided she couldn’t move forward with an abortion after seeing her baby. She and the FOB decided to parent and are seeking to work things out. Pray for continued peace and much needed support for these new parents.
  • Hope and her significant other were only considering abortion and came to us seeking confirmation of pregnancy. Upon receiving her ultrasound an advanced pregnancy was found. Hope was shocked to be so far along and had lots of questions about her options at this point. We lost contact with Hope for a bit, but eventually learned that they decided to keep their baby verse travel for a late term abortion. Pray for support and security for this young couple!
  • Please join us in praying for Michelle, Cece, Trish, Wanda, Nan, Lila, Evelyn, Ava, Laney, CeCe, LeAnn, Raquel, Molly, Angel and Lexi, as these women have chosen to abort, or we have lost touch with them.

There are so many different situations that pressure these women to abort, whether it be health issues, financial burdens, job loss, family circumstances, & lack of relational support. Others feel determined to abort as they have many dreams and goals in life that they are working towards and feel that a child would hinder their plans.

For whatever reason it is that pushes them to choose abortion, pray that they may come to encounter God’s mercy and truth in their lives. Pray that through this difficult decision they have made it allows them to grow in an awareness of the sanctity of all life!
